Internal Call for Applications – PDSE/CAPES 2026 (Sandwich PhD Program Abroad)
The Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of Ceará announces the opening of an internal selection process for candidates applying to the Institutional Sandwich Doctorate Program Abroad (PDSE/CAPES), in accordance with PDSE Call No. 17/2025.
Candidates must submit their documentation to the PGEQ institutional email as well as to Professor Ivanildo at ivanildo@ufc.br.
Basic Requirements:
- Be regularly enrolled in the PPGEQ/UFC doctoral program.
- Have completed the qualification exam or at least two academic semesters.
- Provide proof of language proficiency (declarations or test — e.g., DET (Duolingo English Test) ≥ 100).
- Have a valid ORCiD.
- Not hold a doctoral degree.
- Be Brazilian or a foreign national with regular documentation.
- Have completed coursework compatible with the timeline for graduation.
- Not have previously received a PDSE scholarship.
Required Documents:
Academic transcript, Lattes CV, research plan, letters from the advisor and co-advisor, proof of language proficiency, among others (templates available in the annexes of PDSE Call No. 17/2025).
