The Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering (PPGEQ/UFC) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for 1 (one) Sandwich PhD Scholarship, to be implemented in 2025, under the scope of FUNCAP Internationalization Call No. 08/2023.

This initiative aims to strengthen the internationalization of PPGEQ by fostering international research networks, promoting academic mobility, and expanding the participation of our doctoral students in research activities abroad.

The scholarship will have a minimum duration of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months, and is intended for PhD candidates seeking theoretical advancement, data collection/processing, or experimental development of their thesis in renowned foreign institutions.

• Application period: September 15–30, 2025 (by e-mail: pgeq@ufc.br).
• Final results: October 7, 2025.
• Start of scholarship: December 2025.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend and additional allowances (travel, installation, and health insurance), according to CAPES fellowship value tables.
